PMYP chairman arrives in Muscat for talks on Pakistan-Oman cooperation
ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP):Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan arrived in Muscat on Sunday for an official visit aimed at advancing Pakistan-Oman cooperation, particularly in creating new opportunities for Pakistani youth, with a series of high-level meetings and engagements with the Pakistani community scheduled during his stay.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Oman Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari received Rana Mashhood at Muscat International Airport, while Deputy Head of Mission Bilal Hassan was also present to welcome him,according to a press release received here.
Prominent Pakistani businessmen Mian Muhammad Riaz and Amir Hamza also warmly received the PMYP chairman at the airport.
During his visit, Rana Mashhood is expected to hold important meetings to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Oman in various fields.
The talks will also focus on expanding opportunities for Pakistani youth and exploring avenues for greater collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The PMYP chairman will also meet members of the Pakistani community in Oman and discuss matters concerning their engagement and contribution to strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries.
