Commissioner reviews WASA PDP project in New Satellite Town
SARGODHA, Sep 26 (APP):Commissioner Sargodha Division,Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Sunday visited the WASA Punjab Development Program (PDP) project in New Satellite Town and reviewed the ongoing development work, progress and civic facilities being provided to residents.
Managing Director WASA,Deputy Managing Director and other relevant officers were present on the occasion.
The Commissioner was briefed by the concerned officers on the progress of the project and ongoing development work.
He directed that all components of the WASA PDP project be completed within the stipulated time-frame.
He stressed the need to ensure quality, transparency and timely completion of the development works.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali said the primary objective of development projects was to provide better,sustainable and effective civic facilities to citizens.
He said timely completion of WASA projects would help improve drainage,sewerage and other basic municipal services.
The Commissioner directed all relevant departments to maintain close coordination and take effective measures for prompt resolution of public issues and provision of a better environment to citizens.
He further directed the officers to ensure continuous field monitoring of the project,saying that no compromise would be made on the quality of work.
He emphasized that resolution of citizens’ problems should remain a priority.
