Sindh Governor visits TDF MagnifiScience Centre

KARACHI, Sep 26 (APP): The Governor of Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, visited the TDF MagnifiScience Centre, a project of the Dawood Foundation, where he was warmly welcomed by Sabrina Dawood and other representatives of the organisation.

The Governor visited different sections of the museum and reviewed various exhibits. He was briefed about the displays covering science, physics, the history of Karachi, and diverse themes ranging from the earth to the sea to the sky.

Talking to the media, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said that science, physics, the history of Karachi and other subjects had been presented at the TDF MagnifiScience Centre attractively and innovatively. He said the museum provides children with excellent opportunities for learning, experimentation and practical observation.

The Governor said that the TDF MagnifiScience Centre is a modern museum of international standards. He appreciated the private sector for establishing such an impressive and unique facility in the heart of Karachi.

Hashmi also appreciated the cleanliness, aesthetic presentation and well-organised layout of different sections of the museum.

He said that institutions associated with education, science, industry and commerce should support and promote such commendable initiatives. He added that greater collaboration between the government and private sector could create more opportunities for children and young people to learn and develop their skills.

The Governor of Sindh said that the museum is playing an important role in introducing the people of Karachi, particularly children, to science and history. Such facilities, he added, help promote curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking among children.

He said he was greatly impressed by his visit to the museum and urged the people to visit the TDF MagnifiScience Centre and experience its unique exhibits. He said the centre offers an excellent opportunity for children’s education and learning.
