Amir Muqam, Hamza Shahbaz discuss political situation, development in KP
ISLAMABAD, Sep 26 (APP): Federal Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, met PML-N Vice President and former Chief Minister of Punjab Hamza Shahbaz here on Saturday.
During the meeting, they discussed the overall political situation in the country and matters of public interest.
They also discussed development and public welfare in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including ongoing and proposed development projects in the province, said a press issue here.
On the occasion, Engr Amir Muqam congratulated Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his address to the United Nations General Assembly and described it as historic.
He said the Prime Minister represented not only Pakistan but the entire Muslim Ummah.
Hamza Shahbaz paid tribute to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism to ensure peace in the country.
He expressed his desire to initiate development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa similar to those undertaken in Punjab to promote progress and prosperity in the province.
Hamza Shahbaz also appreciated Engineer Amir Muqam’s outstanding efforts and hard work during the elections in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
He congratulated Engr Amir Muqam on the formation of the PML-N government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
