Interior Minister condemns suicide attack on Aman Mela Police Check Post in DI Khan

ISLAMABAD, Sep 26 (APP): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday strongly condemned the suicide attack on the Anti-Smuggling “Aman Mela Police Check Post” in the Dera Ismail Khan area and expressed grief over the loss of precious human lives in the blast.

In his statement, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack and shared his sympathies with the bereaved families. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Mohsin Naqvi said that such actions by Khawarij could not weaken the nation’s resolve against terrorism. He stated that the country remained committed to continuing the fight against terrorism and would not allow such incidents to affect that determination.

The Interior Minister noted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was on the front line in the war against terrorism. He said the province had been playing a key role in confronting the threat and had made significant sacrifices in this struggle.

He further stated that people from all walks of life had rendered countless sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. Efforts and sacrifices made by citizens, security personnel and others involved in this struggle would always be remembered, he added.

Mohsin Naqvi said the sacrifices of the martyrs were deeply valued and acknowledged by the nation. He stressed that those who laid down their lives in the fight against terrorism had made an important contribution and their sacrifices would not be forgotten.
