According to the announcement issued by Furqan Ahmed Lodhi, Secretary General and Returning Officer, Election Commission for the year 2026–28, the following candidates submitted their nomination papers by the prescribed date of 24 September 2026 for the elections of the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry for the term 2026–28
Election for office bearers of HCSTSI to be held on September 28
HYDERABAD, Sep 26 (APP): According to the announcement issued by Furqan Ahmed Lodhi, Secretary General and Returning Officer, Election Commission for the year 2026–28, the following candidates submitted their nomination papers by the prescribed date of 24 September 2026 for the elections of the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry for the term 2026–28:
For the post of President: Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui, Dr. Muhammad Ismail Farooq Nami and Muhammad Kashif Sheikh.
For the post of Senior Vice President: Muhammad Fahad Mian, Sikandar Ali Rajput, Muhammad Kashif Sheikh, Muhammad Arif Memon and Dr. Muhammad Ismail Farooq Nami. For the post of Vice President: Irfan Arbabiani, Muhammad Aslam Memon, Dr. Muhammad Ismail Farooq Nami and Kashif Sheikh submitted their documents.
On 26 September 2026, the Election Commission scrutinized the nomination papers submitted by the candidates, and all the papers were found to be in order.
The Election Commission for 2026–28 comprises Naeem Aslam, Abdul Aleem and Javaid Qureshi.
During the withdrawal process, Dr. Muhammad Ismail Farooq Nami, Muhammad Kashif Sheikh and Muhammad Arif Memon withdrew their candidature for the post of Senior Vice President, while Dr. Muhammad Ismail Farooq Nami and Muhammad Fahad Mian withdrew their candidature for the post of Vice President.
Accordingly, the election for the term 2026–28 will be contested among Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui, Dr. Muhammad Ismail Farooq Nami and Muhammad Kashif Sheikh for the post of President; Muhammad Fahad Mian and Sikandar Ali Rajput for the post of Senior Vice President; and Irfan Arbiani and Muhammad Aslam Memon for the post of Vice President.
The election will be held on 28 September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Chamber Secretariat. The final results of the election will be formally announced at the General Body Meeting scheduled to be held on 30 September 2026.
