ISLAMABAD, Sep 26 (APP): Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on Saturday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Customs joint check post at Aman Mela in D.I. Khan, which resulted in the martyrdom of Customs officials and personnel of other law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
The Finance Minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the terrorist incident and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of those martyred in the line of duty.
He paid tribute to the courage, dedication and sacrifice of the personnel who lost their lives while performing their duties. “The national resolve against terrorism cannot be weakened by any cowardly act of terrorism,” the Finance Minister said.
He said that the sacrifices of security forces and law enforcement personnel for the peace and security of the country were invaluable.
“The entire nation stands united against terrorism, and efforts to ensure peace and security will continue,” Aurangzeb added.
