IGP Sohail visits capital patrols HQ, opens office doors to serving, retired police personnel
ISLAMABAD, Sep 26 (APP):Inspector General of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry visited the Capital Patrols Headquarters, reviewed ongoing development work and announced that serving and retired police personnel could meet him at his office daily from 10 am to 4 pm for their issues and welfare matters.
An official told APP on Saturday that Capital Patrols officers briefed the IGP Sohail on the ongoing development work and functioning of the unit.
The Capital Patrols unit is providing continuous patrolling across the federal capital and ensuring quick response during emergencies to protect citizens.
Sohail directed officers to further improve public service delivery and ensure that citizens receive timely and effective police assistance.
During the visit, the IGP Sohail also gave a message to the police force, saying the doors of his office would always remain open to his personnel.
My office doors are always open for my force. Serving or retired police officers can visit my office daily from 10 am to 4 pm, the IGP said.
He stressed that alongside better policing and public service, the welfare and concerns of police personnel would also receive due attention.
