Pakistan Music Festival 2026 kicks off at ACP Karachi with Grand Melodies Night

KARACHI, Sep 25 (APP): The three-day “Pakistan Music Festival 2026”, organised by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, got off to a colourful start at Jaun Elia Lawn.

President Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmed Shah welcomed all the guests at the festival, while renowned singers, including emerging artists who rose to prominence through the Pakistan Idol platform, delivered impressive performances and received an enthusiastic response from the audience.

On the first day of the Pakistan Music Festival, renowned singers Ghulam Abbas Khan, Mehmood Ali Khan, Rashid Ali Haidri, Akhlaq Bashir, Noman Khan, Intizar Hussain, Mumtaz Sabzal, Kamran Saggu, Imran Nashad, Shehbaz Ali, Hira Qaiser, Kashia Kaif, Naila Saleem, Sonia Khan and Esha Adhiwal showcased their talent. The event was hosted by Noman Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, President Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmed Shah said that music was an integral part of Pakistan’s cultural identity and national heritage. The basic objective of the Pakistan Music Festival was to provide a meaningful platform to new and talented artists and create opportunities for them to showcase their abilities.

“There is no shortage of talented young people in Pakistan. What they need are opportunities and encouragement to move forward. The Pakistan Music Festival is also providing emerging singers from Pakistan Idol with an opportunity to showcase their talent,” he said.

At the Pakistan Music Festival, singers captivated the audience with melodious performances of classical, folk and various other genres of music, adding to the charm and splendour of the festival. The three-day “Pakistan Music Festival 2026” will continue at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi until September 27.
