KPRA team visits private hospitals, directs to submit financial data

PESHAWAR, Sep 25 (APP): An enforcement team of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA),  Mardan & Malakand Region visited multiple registered private hospitals and healthcare centres of District Mardan.

The visits were conducted to serve notices for provision of record aimed at record reconciliation. This action was prompted by reports indicating that a significant number of potential entities were suppressing actual sales and reporting nominal business activity in their monthly sales tax returns.

The entities have been directed to submit the required operational and financial data within seven (07) days for analysis and tax assessment.

The team explicitly advised the management of these institutions that failure to comply within the stipulated timeframe will invite penal actions under the applicable law.
