SIALKOT, Sep 25 (APP):The Environment Protection Society organised a plantation drive at Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) – Imam Bibi Campus to promote environmental awareness and encourage a culture of sustainability among students and the university community.
The drive was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir, Vice Chancellor, GCWUS, who planted a tree to mark the beginning of the activity, a release of the varsity said.
Ms. Azhra Sabtain, Executive Alumni, also participated in the plantation drive and planted a tree, reaffirming the importance of collective efforts for a greener and healthier environment.
The initiative reflects GCWUS’s commitment to environmental sustainability, climate awareness, and creating a greener campus.
