ISLAMABAD, Sep 25 (APP):The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested two suspects for allegedly defaming a citizen through Facebook following a complaint lodged by the affected person.
An NCCIA official told on Friday that Inspector Syeda Pakeeza took action on the complaint and arrested the two suspects, identified as Rafaqat and Shehzad.
According to the official, the suspects were accused of using Facebook to post defamatory content against the complainant.
The arrests were made after NCCIA initiated action on the citizen’s complaint and examined the matter under the relevant cybercrime laws.
Further investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances of the case and determine the alleged role of the arrested suspects.
