Pakistan, Russia reaffirm commitment to stronger agricultural cooperation
MOSCOW, Sep 24 (APP): Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi on Thursday attended the Second Veterinary Security Forum organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The forum brought together senior officials, experts and representatives from more than a dozen countries to discuss issues related to veterinary and food security and promote international cooperation in the sector.
Following the plenary session, Ambassador Tirmizi held an interaction with Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut.
During the interaction, the ambassador appreciated the organization of the forum and highlighted the importance of agricultural cooperation as a key pillar of Pakistan-Russia bilateral relations.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening practical cooperation with Russia in agriculture and related sectors.
The participation of the Pakistani ambassador in the forum provided an opportunity to engage with international stakeholders and exchange views on areas of mutual interest in veterinary and food security.
The forum also served as a platform for participating countries to enhance dialogue and cooperation on issues concerning agricultural and food security.
