6 drug suppliers arrested, over 11kg drugs recovered during crackdown
RAWALPINDI, Sep 24 (APP):Police have arrested six alleged drug suppliers and recovered more than 11 kilograms of hashish in separate operations across the district.
According to police spokesperson, Jatli Police held drug supplier and recovered 3.6kg of drugs from his possession.
Dhamial Police arrested another supplier and recovered 1.8kg drugs while R.A. Bazaar Police recovered a further 1.8kg of drugs from drug peddler.
Likewise, Chaklala Police have arrested a suspect and recovered 1.5kg of hashish, while Westridge Police seized 1.45kg from another alleged supplier. Banni Police arrested another suspect and recovered 1.32kg of hashish.
Separate cases have been registered against the suspects, and further investigations are underway.
City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera said all available resources were being utilised to combat drug trafficking and eliminate the menace of narcotics from the district.
