RAWALPINDI, Sep 24 (APP):Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) organized an orientation session on Thursday to brief minority students on the Pakistan Minorities Welfare Fund Scholarship and various educational support programs.
Organized in collaboration with representatives from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the Minority Facilitation Center, and the Punjab Governor’s Coordinator for Minority Affairs, the participants were informed about eligibility criteria, documentation protocols, and application procedures for federal grants and financial assistance options available through Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.
Addressing the gathering, RWU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Zarif emphasized that providing equal academic opportunities and student welfare initiatives remains a core institutional priority.
She reaffirmed the university’s commitment to expanding scholarship access for deserving students while strengthening industry-academia linkages to secure professional development and internship placements for students and alumni.
