PHA continues efforts to maintain beauty of city parks
RAWALPINDI, Sep 24 (APP):The Parks and Horticulture Agency (PHA) Rawalpindi is continuing practical measures to maintain the greenery, cleanliness and beauty of parks, green belts and public spaces across the city.
On the directions of PHA Managing Director Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, maintenance work is underway at Wabal Khairi Park in Gulzar-e-Fatima Sector, including the care of plants, flowers and lawns, regular watering, cleanliness and trimming.
PHA staff is paying special attention to the upkeep of different varieties of plants and seasonal flowers at the park. Grass cutting, proper pruning and irrigation are also being carried out to maintain the park’s beauty and greenery.
The agency is also continuing cleanliness, plantation and horticulture activities at various parks across the city to provide citizens with a clean, healthy and pleasant recreational environment.
According to PHA officials, regular monitoring and maintenance of parks and green areas is being carried out as part of efforts to make Rawalpindi greener, cleaner and more attractive.
