DPM/FM Dar, German FM discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral ties
NEW YORK, Sep 24 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday met with Foreign Minister of Germany Johann Wadephul on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UNGA in New York.
During the meeting, the two sides felicitated each other on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Germany, and reaffirmed the importance of sustained high-level engagement to further strengthen the longstanding and cordial bilateral relationship.
The two foreign ministers discussed ways to further expand bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, economic relations, and business-to-business linkages. They also agreed to enhance cooperation in defence, education, skilled and people-to-people contacts.
