IHRA holds MSDS training for Polyclinic hospital
ISLAMABAD, Sep 23 (APP):Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) has conducted a training session on Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for representatives of Polyclinic hospital as part of its ongoing licensing assessment activities.
The session was held on the directions of the IHRA Registration Board to facilitate the hospital in understanding the standards and requirements applicable to the licensing process.
During the training, the IHRA team briefed hospital representatives on various MSDS indicators, assessment criteria and key requirements that healthcare establishments are required to fulfill for obtaining a license from the regulatory authority.
The participants were also guided on the documentation and compliance requirements associated with the licensing assessment, enabling the hospital administration to better prepare for the assessment process.
The training focused on helping the hospital identify existing gaps in service delivery and take corrective measures to improve compliance with the prescribed healthcare standards.
IHRA officials emphasized the importance of implementing MSDS requirements to ensure the provision of safe, standardized and quality healthcare services to patients.
The session also provided an opportunity for hospital representatives to seek clarification regarding the licensing requirements and assessment process.
The IHRA said such training sessions are part of its efforts to facilitate healthcare establishments in meeting regulatory requirements and strengthening standards of healthcare delivery in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The hospital will now work on addressing identified gaps and fulfilling the relevant MSDS requirements ahead of the licensing assessment.
