LAHORE, Sep 23 (APP):Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has said that when Allah Almighty entrusts a person with responsibility, public resources should be used for the welfare of the people, adding that those who neglect their responsibilities will be questioned.
She also shared a short documentary based on statements attributed to Sohail Afridi, saying it was intended to awaken him from his “slumber.”
The documentary contains statements that every young person in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a “Badmash”, that they would return in shrouds in the struggle for freedom and bring freedom with them, and that “we will turn Islamabad into Somnath.”
The statements have sparked questions about the message being conveyed to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and whether the provincial leadership is promoting a narrative of being “ready to die.”
