PM Shehbaz lauds security forces for killing 19 terrorists in Balochistan operations
ISLAMABAD, Sep 23 (APP):Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, on Wednesday lauded the security forces for eliminating 19 militants in their various anti-terrorism operations in Balochistan.
The prime minister praised the security forces for killing 13 terrorists during an operation in Shaban area of Quetta district.
He said the militants were affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan and were operating with Indian patronage, a Prime Minister’s Office news release said.
He also said six more terrorists were killed during intelligence-based operations in Kech district and Quetta West, describing the operations as evidence of the security forces’ strategy against terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz paid tribute to Subedar Muhammad Jameel, who was martyred while defending the country. He said the sacrifice of the army officer was a source of pride for the nation and expressed condolences to his family.
The prime minister said security forces and law-enforcement agencies would continue operations until the complete elimination of terrorism.
He further said that terrorism carried out with foreign patronage and assistance would be eliminated, according to the statement.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said the nation stood with the security forces and law-enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.
