Abbasi pays tribute to armed forces for shooting down drones launched from Afghanistan
ISLAMABAD, Sep 23 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Wednesday paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces for intercepting and shooting down drones that entered Pakistani airspace from Afghanistan.
In his statement, Hanif Abbasi said that Pakistan would give a befitting response at every level to those casting an evil eye on the country.
He said no one would be allowed to undermine Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, adding that any violation of the country’s airspace would not be tolerated.
The minister said the timely action by the armed forces was a manifestation of their exceptional professional capabilities and preparedness to defend the country.
He said any aggression or hostile action against Pakistan would be met with a strong response.
“There will be no compromise on the sovereignty, territorial integrity and protection of the people of Pakistan,” he said.
Hanif Abbasi said the designs of those committing aggression against Pakistan would be thwarted on every front.
