Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested three alleged members of the “Kohati Gang” wanted in connection with multiple dacoity and street robbery incidents and recovered valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, cash, mobile phones and weapons allegedly used in the crimes.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 23 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested three alleged members of the “Kohati Gang” wanted in connection with multiple dacoity and street robbery incidents and recovered valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, cash, mobile phones and weapons allegedly used in the crimes.
According to official on Wednesday that a team of Noon Police Station carried out the operation and arrested the three suspects allegedly involved in a series of gunpoint robberies.
Police recovered looted and snatched valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, cash and mobile phones from their possession. Weapons allegedly used in the crimes were also recovered.
The official said multiple cases had already been registered against the suspects. During preliminary investigation, they allegedly disclosed their involvement in several robbery incidents, while further investigation was underway.
The arrests came as part of an ongoing operation launched on the directions of DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem against suspects involved in theft, dacoity, street robbery and other serious crimes across the federal capital.
Ali Waseem directed police officers to intensify action against those depriving citizens of their valuables and ensure that such elements were brought to justice in accordance with law.
