Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday appreciated Traffic Warden Sohail Wazir Dogar for his honesty and sense of duty after he returned a lost bag containing a substantial amount of cash and important documents to its owner.
CM lauds traffic warden for returning cash-filled bag to owner
LAHORE, Sep 23 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday appreciated Traffic Warden Sohail Wazir Dogar for his honesty and sense of duty after he returned a lost bag containing a substantial amount of cash and important documents to its owner.
Sohail Dogar met the Chief Minister and briefed her about the incident. During routine patrolling near Timber Market, he found an unattended bag lying on the road and took it into his custody.
The bag contained a substantial amount of cash, a driving licence and other important documents. The traffic warden traced its owner, Zain-ul-Abideen, and safely handed over the bag and its contents to him.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif appreciated Sohail Dogar’s honesty and commended him for performing his duty with sincerity and integrity. “Traffic Warden Sohail Dogar’s honesty and devotion to duty are inspiring, and I am pleased,” the CM said.
She said that if every Pakistani adopted the values of honesty and integrity, the country could make significant progress. She added that Allah Almighty was also pleased when people performed their duties with sincerity and honesty.
