The prices of gold witnessed a decline in the local market on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs1,800 to settle at Rs453,936, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Gold prices fall by Rs1,800 per tola
ISLAMABAD, Sep 23 (APP): The prices of gold witnessed a decline in the local market on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs1,800 to settle at Rs453,936, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs1,544 to Rs389,176, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs1,416 to Rs356,757.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $18 to $4,314 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola fell by Rs30 to settle at Rs7,008, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs25 to Rs6,008.
The price of silver in the international market also declined by $0.30 to settle at $65.30 per ounce, the association added.
