The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday summoned the investigation officer (IO) in the alleged abduction case of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Fazal Shakoor Khan and sought a progress report on the investigation.

PESHAWAR, Sep 23 (APP): The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday summoned the investigation officer (IO) in the alleged abduction case of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Fazal Shakoor Khan and sought a progress report on the investigation.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Ijaz Anwar and Justice Kamran Hayat Miankhel heard the petition filed by the minister’s brother against his alleged abduction.
Advocate Bashir Wazir appeared for the petitioner, while a police representative and Additional Advocate General Bilal Khan also appeared before the court.
During the hearing, the court directed the investigation officer handling the case to appear at the next hearing and brief the bench about the progress made in the investigation.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case until September 25.
