Foreign ministers of Pakistan and Greece agreed to maintain sustained high-level engagement and extended invitations to each other for reciprocal visits.
Pakistan, Greece vow to further strengthen bilateral trade, investment ties
NEW YORK, Sep 23 (APP):Pakistan and Greece on Wednesday reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen Pakistan-Greece bilateral relations, with particular focus on expanding trade, investment, and business-to-business linkages.
The bilateral ties were discussed in a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Greece George Gerapetritis, held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly here.
Foreign Minister Gerapetritis appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability, as well as its growing diplomatic engagement on the international stage. He also lauded the valuable contribution of the Pakistani diaspora in Greece.
Both sides exchanged views on regional and global developments, including energy supply chain disruptions, and underscored the importance of unhindered maritime movement.
