M-1, M-14, Hazara Motorway, GT Road among routes to close from 11pm : ITP
ISLAMABAD, Sep 23 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a traffic advisory announcing the closure of M-1 Peshawar Motorway, M-14 CPEC route, Hazara Motorway and sections of GT Road and other key routes from 11:00 pm on Wednesday, until further notice, advising motorists to plan their journeys and use alternate routes.
An ITP official told APP that the M-1 Peshawar Motorway will be closed from Haroon Bridge, while the M-14 CPEC route will be closed from Kani Bridge near Tarap Interchange in the jurisdiction of Mianwali Police.
The E-35 Hazara Motorway will be closed from Hazara Interlink near Burhan Interchange, while N-5 GT Road will be closed from Attock Khurd.
Similarly, the Rawalpindi-Kohat Road will be closed from Khushal Garh, while the Abbottabad-Hassanabdal Road will be closed from Jhari Kas Checkpost.
The closures will come into effect at 2300 hours (11:00 pm) on September 23 and will remain in place until further notice.
ITP advised motorists travelling from Islamabad and surrounding areas to plan their journeys accordingly, avoid the affected routes and use alternate routes to prevent inconvenience.
