LAHORE, Sep 22 (APP):Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has stated that it is essential to encourage welfare organizations dedicated to serving humanity.
During a ceremony to donate ambulances to Sundas Foundation, he lauded the Sundas Foundation for its humanitarian services, observing that a truly meaningful life is one devoted to the well-being of others.
Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan emphasized that welfare organizations like the Sundas Foundation, which provide selfless service to humanity, deserve encouragement at every level. He said that Sundas Foundation is a trustworthy institution that is playing leading role in serving patients suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia.
He remarked that saving a single life is tantamount to saving all of humanity, adding that these ambulances are not merely vehicles but a means to save lives, noting that they would prove instrumental in transporting patients to medical centers in a timely manner.
He urged philanthropists to come forward and actively support such welfare organizations. The Governor stated that the doors of Governor House remain open at all times to assist suffering humanity.
He hailed philanthropist Mian Muhammad Ajmal for keeping the spirit of humanity alive through his donation of ambulances to the welfare organization.
Sardar Saleem Haider Khan expressed hope that the Sundas Foundation would continue its mission of humanitarian service.
On this occasion, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan handed over the keys of ambulances—donated with the support of Mian Muhammad Ajmal, Chairman of the Chamber of Food and Agriculture to the Sundas Foundation.
