NCCIA chief seeks transparency, quality control in construction projects
ISLAMABAD, Sep 22 (APP):National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Director General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has directed officials to ensure transparency, quality control and timely completion of the agency’s under-construction buildings and infrastructure projects.
He issued the directions while chairing a high-level meeting of senior NCCIA officers at the agency’s headquarters here on Tuesday, where progress on ongoing construction and development works was reviewed in detail.
The meeting was briefed on the current status of the projects, quality of construction material, costs, timelines and technical and administrative issues being faced during the execution of the works.
The participants also discussed a comprehensive plan for developing the agency’s infrastructure in line with its institutional requirements, besides reviewing measures for effective and transparent utilisation of resources and ensuring quality control in construction works.
Ali Nasir Rizvi directed the concerned officers to ensure high standards, transparency and completion of all construction projects within the stipulated timelines.
He said no negligence or delay in the execution of the projects would be tolerated.
The NCCIA chief further directed that the agency’s under-construction buildings should be developed on sound engineering principles and durable foundations so that they could adequately meet institutional requirements and provide officers and personnel with a better working environment.
He said modern and functional infrastructure was essential to materialise the vision of developing the NCCIA into a modern and professional institution.
