CM Bugti pays tribute to forces for successful operation against terrorists on Highway N-25 near Kalat
QUETTA, Sep 21 (APP):Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday paid tribute to the security forces and expressed satisfaction over their successful operation against terrorists on the Pakistan Highway (Chaman-Karachi, N-25) near Kalat.
He stated that the security forces, through a timely and effective operation, killed five terrorists and safely rescued 23 abductees from their hideout, a feat that demonstrates the forces’ professional competence and prompt response.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti noted that the security forces thwarted the terrorists’ nefarious attempts to disrupt the peaceful movement of the public on the national highway and to engage in kidnapping for ransom, extortion and vehicle hijacking.
He also commended the professional capabilities of the security forces for recovering a large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, as well as six trucks, three buses, and two other vehicles, from the terrorists’ hideout.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan affirmed that operations against terrorism would continue with full force to establish law and order and protect the lives and property of the public.
He maintained that state institutions remained united and resolute in their commitment to completely eradicating terrorism under Operation “Azm-e-Istehkam.”
Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the safety of the public and the national highways would be ensured through effective action against terrorism fueled by foreign patronage and support.
