SUKKUR, Sep 21 (APP):A firing incident in the jurisdiction of Amrot Police Station has taken a new turn, as preliminary police investigations have indicated that the incident stemmed from a personal dispute rather than a robbery.
According to police spokesperson, Shikarpur SSP Muhammad Kaleem has taken serious notice of the firing incident that occurred on the Link Road near New Bridge in the Amrot police jurisdiction and sought a detailed report from the concerned officers.
According to the preliminary investigation, a dispute over a monetary transaction reportedly took place between Aman Domki and the injured Allah Rakhio Domki, who are uncle and nephew. During the altercation, firing took place, leaving Allah Rakhio Domki injured.
Police said that the initial claim that the incident was a robbery was found to be baseless during the preliminary inquiry and that the available information pointed toward a personal dispute over money.
SSP Muhammad Kaleem has directed the DSP Madeji and SHO Amrot Police Station to submit a comprehensive report regarding the incident.
The SSP also ordered that all available resources be utilized to ensure the immediate arrest of the armed suspects allegedly involved in the firing. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
