RAWALPINDI, Sep 20 (APP):Security Forces killed five terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Hindustan and rescued 23 abductees during an operation near Kalat.
“On the night of September 18/19, 2026, terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan tried to disrupt the peaceful movement of people along Pakistan Highway (Chaman-Karachi, N-25) near Kalat by establishing a check post for abduction for ransom, extortion and snatching of vehicles,” said a news release issued by by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Security Forces responded immediately and, after an intense exchange of fire, killed five terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored proxy of Fitna al-Hindustan through an effective response by the Armed Forces, the news release said.
“Security Forces also recovered 23 abductees from the terrorists’ hideout. Six trucks, three buses and two cars were also recovered from the terrorists’ hideout, along with a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives,” it added.
Successful operations by the security forces resulted in thwarting the nefarious designs of Indian-sponsored proxy of Fitna al-Hindustan.
Sanitization operations are continuing in the surrounding areas to eliminate any remaining terrorists and ensure the safety and security of the local population and the vital National Highways.
“The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee* on the National Action Plan, will continue with full resolve. Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies remain committed to eliminating the menace of foreign-sponsored and foreign-supported terrorism from the country”, the news release said.
