DPO Dera reviews security arrangements at Ejaz Shaheed Police Lines
Dera Ismail Khan , Sep 19 (APP):District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan Ziauddin Ahmad on Saturday visited Ejaz Shaheed Police Lines and reviewed security arrangements in view of the prevailing security situation.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Headquarters Inamullah Khan Gandapur accompanied the DPO during the visit.
The DPO inspected the main entrance, security pickets and other security arrangements at the police lines. He also checked the weapons kept in the armoury and reviewed their availability, condition and safety arrangements.
He interacted with police personnel deployed on security duties and directed them to perform their responsibilities with utmost vigilance, dedication and a strong sense of duty. He warned that negligence or dereliction of duty would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against those found responsible.
Ziauddin Ahmad appreciated the services of police personnel in maintaining law and order, saying that the force was playing a frontline role in ensuring peace and security.
He said police officers would continue to stand alongside their personnel during difficult times and assured that all possible measures would be taken for their encouragement and welfare.
