Ayaz condemns terrorist attack at Police Lines in Kohat
ISLAMABAD, Sep 18 (APP):Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on Friday, strongly condemned the terrorist attack and blasts at the Police Lines in Kohat during Friday prayers, expressing deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives.
He said that targeting police personnel and innocent civilians during Jumma prayers was a cowardly and highly condemnable act.
Ayaz Sadiq expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of those martyred in the blast, saying that he shared their grief and stood with them in their hour of sorrow.
The Speaker prayed for the early and complete recovery of those injured in the incident, stressing that the terrorists responsible for such heinous acts must be dealt with firmly and swiftly in accordance with the law.
Ayaz Sadiq said that terrorists targeting innocent citizens in pursuit of their nefarious objectives, shall never succeed in their designs.
He said that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces and law-enforcement agencies in their fight against terrorism and remains committed to supporting their efforts to protect the lives and security of the people.
Ayaz Sadiq prayed to Allah Almighty for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for patience and fortitude for the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
