ISLAMABAD, Sep 18 (APP):Inspector General of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry visited the Traffic Police Headquarters and directed officers to further improve driving licence facilities, traffic management and other services for citizens.
An official told APP on Friday that Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan briefed the IGP Sohail on the overall performance of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP), its operational matters and working of different sections.

The IGP Sohail directed traffic police to further improve the provision of driving licences and other traffic-related facilities and strengthen citizen-friendly policing.
He said enforcement of traffic laws should go hand in hand with continued public awareness, adding that smooth traffic flow, public convenience and road safety remained among the top priorities.
Sohail directed traffic officers and personnel to maintain professional conduct and discipline while performing their duties and continue measures to make Islamabad’s traffic system more organised and effective.
He said protection of citizens’ lives and property, enforcement of traffic laws and provision of better public facilities remained key priorities of Islamabad Police.
