‘Bhutto laid his life to safeguard Finality of Prophethood’, says Sardar Saleem Hiader
LAHORE, Sep 17 (APP):Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider has said that PPP founder Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto laid his life to safeguard the Finality of Prophethood (PBUH).
“Pakistan is the only Islamic country in the world where a denier of the Finality of Prophethood (PBUH) has been constitutionally declared a non-Muslim and this historic accomplishment was achieved under the leadership of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto”, he said while addressing a seminar “Role of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Safeguarding Doctrine of the Finality of Prophethood (PBUH)” at the Governor’s House here on Thursday.
Sardar Saleem Haider said the path to salvation lies in following the way of Allah and the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan remarked that the life and character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) serve as a beacon for the success of not only Muslims, but all of humanity. He stated, “Every aspect of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) life stands as a guiding light for us.”
The Governor emphasized, “We can only achieve true success and prosperity by emulating the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He noted that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) granted rights to minorities in the State of Madinah. The Governor added, “The last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) taught us the lesson of equality.” He stated that his role models are not Western leaders, but the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The Governor remarked that success in the Bunyan-um-Marsoos operation was achieved due to our Field Marshal and armed forces. He noted that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the President, and the Prime Minister stood firm, empowered by the strength of their faith.
The Governor Punjab said, “Allah bestowed honour upon us through the Makkah Accord.”
He condemned the drone attacks targeting Makkah and noted, “Our forces successfully thwarted the drone attack on Makkah.” He affirmed that every single citizen of the country is prepared to defend Makkah and Madinah.
The Governor mentioned that Mehfil-e-Milad gatherings held twice at Governor House had enhanced the spiritual blessings of the premises. He noted that while Umrah tickets were awarded at the previous Milad event, one hundred Umrah tickets would be distributed this time. He expressed his desire to ensure that, during his tenure, no employee of Governor House remains deprived of the privilege of performing Umrah.
Distinguished scholars representing various schools of thought—including Allama Yousuf Awan, Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan, Mufti Intikhab Ahmed Noori, Hafiz Kazim Raza, Abdul Kabir Azad, and Allama Zubair Ahmed Zaheer attended the seminar.
