Commissioner directs foolproof security, biometric screening for MDCAT exam

RAWALPINDI, Sep 16 (APP):Commissioner Salman Ghani directed administrative authorities to finalize comprehensive security, logistic and biometric monitoring measures for the upcoming Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) scheduled for September 20.

Three examination centers have been established across the district at Arid Agriculture University, Government Graduate College in Satellite Town and Siddique Public School in Satellite Town.

Chairnjng a meeting, the commissioner said that strict security measures will be enforced without compromising merit, including drone and camera surveillance around all examination venues alongside the implementation of Section 144 in surrounding areas.

National Database and Registration Authority teams will complete candidate identity verification through identity cards, admission letters, and biometric screening prior to the commencement of the exam. Health Department officials at Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, District Headquarter Hospital, and the Rawalpindi Institute of Urology and Transplantation have been instructed to keep medical staff on high alert, while dedicated seating, shade, drinking water, and parking arrangements will be arranged for parents accompanying candidates
