DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sep 16 (APP):The district police have arrested six suspects allegedly involved in theft and robbery cases and recovered six motorcycles and a rickshaw from their possession.
The action was carried out by Cantt police under the supervision of DSP City Circle Saghir Shah Gilani and SHO Cantt Abdul Ghaffar Khan on the directives of DPO Dera Ziauddin Ahmed.
The arrested suspects were identified as Altaf, Umar Farooq, Asadullah, Shakeel Ahmed, Waqar Hassan and Ishaq. The police said the suspects were wanted to police in several cases registered at Cantt police station.
Further investigation was underway.
DPO Ziauddin Ahmed appreciated the performance of the SHO Cantt and his team and directed them to continue efforts against theft and robbery.
