LAHORE, Sep 15 (APP):Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Kharal

reviewed matters relating to contribution recovery, Maryam Nawaz Ration Card, registration

of new workers and field inspections at a meeting held at the PESSI head office here on Tuesday.

The meeting was briefed in detail on contribution recovery targets and the performance

of different directorates. The progress on Maryam Nawaz Ration Card and registration

of new workers was also reviewed.

Directors of Multan, Bahawalpur and Muzaffargarh were called to the Head Office during

the meeting to brief the Commissioner on the performance of their respective directorates.

Zulfiqar Ali Kharal said that the overall performance of contribution recovery under F-View

was satisfactory, but directed field officers to adopt more effective measures to achieve

the assigned recovery targets. He directed that the registration of new workers be expedited

and made more effective, stressing coordinated efforts by all directorates to ensure maximum

registration.

The Commissioner said increased registration of workers would help ensure their access

to Social Security facilities and benefits. He also directed the concerned officers to continue

the recovery process of the Workers Welfare Fund in a coordinated manner and make field

inspections more effective, with special focus on achieving recovery targets.
