Police officials directed to ensure efficient, quality services at Police Stations
RAWALPINDI, Sep 15 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob and SSP Investigation Saifullah have directed police officials to ensure efficient and quality services to citizens at police stations at all times, stressing that negligence in resolving public grievances will not be tolerated.
The senior officers issued the directives while holding open courts at the Police Lines Headquarters, where they listened to citizens’ complaints and ordered the relevant officials to take prompt legal action for their resolution.
They directed concerned officers to ensure that action on marked applications is taken within the stipulated timeframe. The officers further emphasised that citizens’ problems must be addressed without unnecessary delay and that effective service delivery at police stations should remain a priority.
The officers said that, in line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, protecting citizens’ lives and property and providing them with quality services are among the police’s foremost priorities.
