FAISALABAD, Sep 15 (APP):The city on Tuesday received rain which turned the weather pleasant and also
inundated low laying areas, creating numerous problems for the pedestrians
and residents.
The dark clouds started hovering over the sky at Monday night. However,
on Tuesday the rain started afternoon and it continued with intermittent intervals.
According to the rainfall report issued by WASA Monsoon Control Room at 3:05 p.m.,
the rain started at 2 p.m. and continued at varying intensity across Faisalabad.
WASA spokesman said that Ghulam Muhammad Abad (GMA) Water Works
recorded 36 mm of rain followed by Gulistan Colony Overhead Reservoir (OHR)
with 27 mm, WASA Head Office 26 mm, Gulfishan OHR 15 mm, Allama Iqbal
Colony 12 mm, Dogar Basti OHR 11 mm and Madina Town Water Works 7 mm.
