SIALKOT, Sep 15 (APP):Assistant Commissioner Sialkot Safdar Shabbir has sealed two shops involved
in illegal decanting of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on Defence Road during an
enforcement operation.
According to the AC Office spokesperson, the action was taken after inspection
of the premises, where illegal LPG transfer and violations of prescribed safety
regulations were observed. The officials also reviewed safety arrangements and
measures being adopted at the sites.
The assistant commissioner said that strict action would continue against illegal
LPG decanting and other unsafe practices to protect the lives and property of citizens.
He directed the officials concerned to maintain effective monitoring of LPG stations
and take immediate action against violators in accordance with the law.
