Police on Tuesday arrested 22 accused,including 11 proclaimed offenders (POs),during a massive crackdown against criminals in different areas of the district.

SARGODHA, Sep 15 (APP):Police on Tuesday arrested 22 accused,including 11 proclaimed offenders (POs),during a massive crackdown against criminals in different areas of the district.
According to a police spokesman,raiding teams of various police stations conducted raids at different localities and arrested 22 criminals wanted by police in cases involving robbery,dacoity and other crimes.
The arrested accused also included three members of a motorcycle-lifting gang from whose possession valuables were recovered.
Meanwhile,police launched another crackdown against illegal weapon holders across the district and arrested five accused,recovering weapons from their possession.
Further investigation was underway.
