SIALKOT, Sep 14 (APP):A faculty deputation visit was conducted at Cosmopolitan Enterprises under the SCCI

Departmental Committee on Research Management for Sustainable Development (RMSD)

here on Monday.

The visit was in continuation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with

NPO Pakistan, Biltehqeeq, Govt College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS), University

of Sialkot (USKT), Grand Asian University Sialkot (GAUS) and UMT Sialkot.

Academic experts engaged directly with the company to understand its production challenges

and identify how academic expertise and research capabilities could help improve production

quality through practical, R&D-driven solutions.

The objective is to build direct, meaningful industry–academia engagement bringing academic

expertise, research capabilities and industry experience together to resolve the real production

challenges facing Sialkot’s export manufacturing sector.

The initiative was now being extended through further faculty deputations across Sialkot’s leather,

textile, sports goods and surgical instruments sectors, marking the start of a more practical,

research-driven approach to strengthening the export industry.
