ISLAMABAD, Sep 14 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Ali Waseem held a meeting with his staff to discuss professional responsibilities, public service and measures to ensure effective and timely police services for citizens.
An official told APP on Monday that during the meeting, the DIG Ali said all officers must work together to ensure rule of law, protection of citizens’ lives and property and better service delivery to the public.
He said a zero-tolerance policy against corruption would be strictly enforced across the force.
“No one, including myself, is above the law,” DIG Ali said, stressing that police personnel must perform their duties in accordance with the law and professional standards.
He directed the staff to focus on their professional responsibilities and ensure that citizens receive effective and timely police services.
