Two killed, four injured in separate road accidents in Attock

ATTOCK, Sep 13 (APP):Two people were killed and four others injured in two separate road accidents in different parts of Attock district on Sunday, police and rescue sources said.
In the first incident, a car overturned on the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway (M-1) near Burhan Interchange in Hassanabdal Police limits. According to officials, Wali Dad, 25, was driving with relatives Noor Zaman, 28, Shahzaib, 24, Qasim Khan, 21, and Noor Muhammad, 58, when he lost control of the vehicle. Wali Dad died on the spot, while all four passengers were injured.
The injured and the deceased were shifted to Wah General Hospital, from where two of the critically wounded were later referred to Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi.In a separate incident, a young pizza delivery rider died after suffering a critical head injury in Pindigheb. Police said Umair Javed, a resident of Dhoke Datwal and the only child of his parents, crashed his motorcycle near Zafar Chowk while reportedly trying to avoid a pothole on a badly damaged road.
Police have registered separate cases in both incidents and launched investigations. Rescue teams reached both sites promptly and shifted the victims to hospitals for treatment and medico-legal formalities.
