RAWALPINDI, Sep 13 (APP):Chairman of Pakistan Awami Quwwat, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, said that education, technology and innovation, health, employment, women’s empowerment, and Kashmir are key components of Pakistan Awami Quwwat’s manifesto. Providing young people with modern skills and dignified employment opportunities is an urgent need.
He expressed these views while addressing the oath-taking ceremony of Pakistan Awami Quwwat. The ceremony was attended by Aasma Ismail Butt, President Punjab Women’s Wing, Nabila Farghani, President Rawalpindi Division, Raja Shafqat Mehboob Advocate, President Lawyers’ Wing Rawalpindi Division, members of the Central Committee, and other office-bearers. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, while Malik Ijaz Hussain performed the duties of host.
Aasma Ismail Butt, President Punjab Women’s Wing, Pakistan Awami Quwwat, said that Khaqan Waheed Khawaja’s services for the welfare of the people are selfless, and it was his vision and commitment to public service that inspired her to join Pakistan Awami Quwwat.
She said that she would work alongside Khaqan Waheed Khawaja to serve the people and would make every effort to advance the mission of public service.
Asma Butt said that Pakistan Awami Quwwat has a clear vision for addressing public issues, particularly in the areas of education, health, and basic rights.
Pakistan Awami Quwwat, she said, was striving to establish a system in which public welfare, basic rights, and a better future for the people would be given priority.
Aasma Butt pledged to use all her abilities to take the party’s manifesto and message to the people across the country.
Chairman Khaqan Waheed Khawaja thanked Aasma Ismail Butt for her support and said that he needed sincere and honest colleagues.
Nabila Farghani, President Rawalpindi Division Women’s Wing, and Raja Shafqat Mehboob Advocate, President Lawyers’ Wing Rawalpindi Division, also addressed the ceremony.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja presented Asma Butt with the party flag and issued her appointment notification. Asma Butt also took the oath of office as President Punjab Women’s Wing, Pakistan Awami Quwwat.
