Campaign against corruption continue in Punjab

LAHORE, Sep 13 (APP):The Punjab government was continuing its campaign against officers and
officials involved in alleged corruption within government departments.
Under the initiative, the helpline ‘1350’ has been activated to address
citizens’ grievances—received over 2,700 complaints in just 10 days.
According to official sources, 1,705 of the complaints received via the
helpline had been resolved, while action was currently underway on
903 others. The complaints involve allegations of corruption against
officers and personnel from the police, district and tehsil administrations,
the revenue department, and other government bodies.
According to the Punjab government, action taken in response to citizens’
complaints had resulted in cases being registered against numerous officers
and officials, with several individuals also being arrested.
The government states that the operation against corrupt elements would
continue without any discrimination.
