CCPO unveils Whatsapp line to bypass station delays
PESHAWAR, Sep 13 (APP):Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Mian Saeed Ahmad on Sunday urged public to reach out via a dedicated complaint whatsapp number (0346-1117639) to ensure grievances are promptly resolved.
In a video message broadcast on social media, CCPO confirmed that he has made himself available on the number round-the-clock, provided callers have stated their name and address for verification purposes.
The initiative has been launched to spare citizens from enduring lengthy queues and stringent security checks when visiting the CCPO office in person.
He said once logged, all issues have been forwarded for immediate redirection to relevant Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) and Station House Officer (SHO), who have been tasked with settling matters within seven to fifteen days.
In cases where a resolution has not been resolved within the specified timeframe, CCPO has pledged to personally invite the complainant to his office, whilst promising that strict disciplinary action has been guaranteed against any officer held responsible for unnecessary delays.
He concluded by reiterating that the Peshawar police has remained fully committed to serving public without discrimination.
