The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Dera Ismail Khan has intensified enforcement activities against transport violations across different bus stands and passenger vehicles in the division.

Dera Ismail Khan , Sep 13 (APP):The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Dera Ismail Khan has intensified enforcement activities against transport violations across different bus stands and passenger vehicles in the division.
On the directions of RTA Secretary Shaukat Iqbal, monitoring teams are checking vehicles to ensure implementation of transport laws, approved fares and provision of safe and better travel facilities to passengers.
The teams are taking action against overcharging, non-issuance of tickets, overloading, over-seating, non-functional air conditioners and failure to display or follow the approved fare rate list.
RTA Secretary Shaukat Iqbal directed the monitoring teams to further strengthen inspections and take legal action against violators, saying overcharging, overloading and denial of passengers’ basic rights would not be tolerated.
